S99 Online Casino Australia
Most Australian-facing casino sites lead with a single welcome bonus and a handful of ongoing offers. S99, run under the Super99au brand, takes a different approach entirely: its promotions page reads more like a rewards catalogue than a bonus list, and its main navigation puts a dedicated mini-game front and centre alongside the usual pokies and live casino categories. This review walks through what S99 actually offers, from its Plinko-style mini-game through to a promotions calendar with more moving parts than almost anything else reviewed on this site.
If you’re comparing S99 against other options before you sign up, it’s worth reading this alongside Me99’s other casino coverage, since a single-brand review only tells part of the story.
What Is S99 Casino?
S99 is the platform brand behind Super99au, positioned as a premier online casino platform for Australian players covering pokies, live games, a sportsbook, slot games, lottery and poker under one login. The site runs a slide-out menu structure common to app-style casino platforms, with dedicated sections for Home, Plinko, Hot Games, Leaderboard, My Lucky Number, and Downline & Commission, alongside the usual account settings and support. That menu layout alone tells you a lot about where S99 puts its energy: gamified extras and referral tools sit right alongside the core game categories, not buried in a separate promotions tab.
Games at S99
The core game categories confirmed on Super99au’s own site include:
- Pokies and Slot Games – the largest category, with a dedicated 100% slot game bonus and daily slot-specific rewards
- Live Casino – live dealer games with their own bonus structure separate from pokies
- Sportsbook – covered under “Sportbook” in the site’s own branding, with a dedicated welcome and ongoing bonus
- Lottery and Poker – listed among the platform’s core verticals in its own site metadata
- Plinko – a standalone mini-game with its own nav placement and mini-game bonus
For players comparing S99 against a wider spread of Australia’s real online pokies platforms before signing up, it’s worth checking how the S99 lobby compares to a full library of online pokies covered elsewhere on this site, since S99 splits its attention across several verticals rather than focusing on pokies alone.
Plinko and Mini-Games: S99's Signature Feature
This is genuinely what sets S99 apart. Plinko sits in the main navigation as its own category, not tucked away as a side feature, and the homepage carries a dedicated “Play Now” banner for it alongside the main slot lobby. A separate “S99 Mini Game” bonus line also appears at the very top of the promotions page, ahead of every other offer on the site. For players who like the fast, simple, drop-and-watch mechanics of Plinko-style games rather than a full pokie’s reel and bonus round structure, this is a rare case of a casino treating a mini-game as a headline feature rather than an afterthought.
The Welcome Bonus and Sign-Up Credit
S99’s own site metadata advertises a free AUD 39.99 sign-up credit, while the in-app promotions page lists a “365 Days Free Credit” line under Free Credit Bonus showing AUD 19.99 as the new-register free chip. These two figures don’t match exactly, which is worth being upfront about rather than picking one and presenting it as settled. Either way, the structure is a no-deposit style credit on registration, separate from the deposit-based cashback and reload offers layered on top of it. As always with figures like this, check the current amount inside the app before you factor it into your decision.
A Genuinely Massive Promotions Calendar
Where S99 stands out from almost every other brand on this site is sheer promotional breadth. The confirmed categories on its promotions page include:
- Special Cashback Bonus – tiered free credit on deposits of 20, 30, 50 and 100 AUD, from 30% up to 60%
- S99 Check-in Bonus – daily check-in rewards, with a Day 4 milestone worth AUD 300 and a “big prize” tier at 100%
- Weekend Bonus – a 90% bonus specifically for weekend play
- Slot Game Bonus – a 100% slot bonus plus separate 5% and 10% daily slot bonuses
- Invite & Earn (Affiliate) – downline deposit rewards, weekly downline commission, a Facebook share bonus, a social media join bonus and a Trustpilot review bonus
- Another Chance Special – a full top-up ladder from AUD 30 through AUD 300, each unlocking a matching free credit
- Special Daily Top-up Bonus – a second, finer-grained top-up ladder with smaller free-credit increments
- Live Casino Bonus – a 50% live casino bonus plus a 5% daily live casino bonus
- Sportbook Bonus – a 100% welcome bonus and a 10% unlimited ongoing bonus for sports betting
- Weekly Top-up Mission – milestone rewards for players who top up AUD 1,000 through AUD 3,000 in a week
- Crypto Bonus – unlimited 10% bonuses across slots, live casino and sport/fishing for crypto depositors
- S99 App Bonus – a flat AUD 5 credit tied to the app itself
That’s more parallel promo categories than most brands run in total, and it’s worth treating as the practical takeaway from this review: if you enjoy working through a long list of stackable offers rather than relying on one big welcome bonus, S99’s promotions page is built exactly for that kind of player.
Premium VIP Rewards
Alongside the promotions calendar, S99 runs a five-tier VIP structure with escalating free credit as you climb:
VIP Tier | Free Credit (AUD) |
|---|---|
Tier 1 | 30 |
Tier 2 | 120 |
Tier 3 | 360 |
Tier 4 | 720 |
Tier 5 | 1,288 |
The site doesn’t publish the specific wagering volume required to reach each tier, so treat this table as a guide to the scale of rewards on offer rather than a fixed timeline.
Downline & Commission: The Referral System
Referrals aren’t an afterthought at S99, they’re a permanent item in the main navigation alongside Home and Hot Games. The “Downline & Commission” section ties into the Invite & Earn promotions listed above: a flat AUD 5 credit for a downline’s first deposit, plus a 5% weekly commission on downline activity. A separate “My Lucky Number” reward mechanic also sits in the main nav, tied to deposit-based lucky draw entries rather than a standard bonus.
Payments and Getting Started
S99’s own site doesn’t publish a full payment method table on the pages reviewed here, so it’s worth confirming your preferred deposit and withdrawal method directly in the cashier before committing. What is confirmed is that account balances, deposits and withdrawals are handled in AUD, and the site’s registration flow follows the standard pattern: register, verify, deposit, claim your sign-up credit.
Mobile and App
S99 offers a dedicated app, with its own AUD 5 app bonus listed on the promotions page as an incentive to download it. The core site is also fully usable through a mobile browser without installing anything, so the app is a bonus rather than a requirement to play.
Is S99 Safe and Licensed?
Licensing information isn’t visible on the pages reviewed for this article, which is worth flagging plainly rather than guessing at a regulator or licence number. That doesn’t mean the platform is unsafe, but it does mean players should do their own due diligence, checking the site’s terms and footer for licensing details, before depositing anything beyond a small test amount.
A Word on the Partner Network
S99’s own menu includes a “Recommend Partners” section listing well over a dozen sister and affiliate brands, including names like Sengo, Slotify7, M99, Splinkas, A99, DD8, W99, B522, E99, EZ99, TAB77, PP99, FC8, REC99, Southern9, Jackdom and Yes77. This is a genuinely large network, and it’s worth treating each of those brands as its own separate platform with its own terms rather than assuming S99’s bonuses, licensing or game library automatically apply across the group.
Pros and Cons of S99
Pros
- Plinko and mini-games treated as a headline feature, not an afterthought
- An unusually large, genuinely varied promotions calendar covering nearly every play style
- A structured five-tier VIP ladder with clear escalating rewards
- Referrals and a lucky-number draw built directly into the main navigation
- Dedicated app with its own bonus incentive
Cons
- Sign-up credit figures are inconsistent between the site’s own metadata and its in-app promotions page
- No licensing information visible on the pages reviewed
- No published payment method table, so banking options need confirming directly in the cashier
- VIP tier requirements aren’t published, making it hard to plan a path up the ladder
How S99 Compares
Against other brands covered on this site, S99’s edge is genuinely its promotional breadth and the Plinko mini-game, both of which are rare enough to be worth calling out on their own. Where it falls short is transparency: no visible licence details and inconsistent bonus figures are gaps that better-documented brands don’t have. If free online pokies and stackable daily offers matter more to you than regulatory clarity, S99 is worth a look; if licensing transparency is a dealbreaker, it’s worth comparing against other online casino Australia options reviewed on this site first.
Conclusion
S99 stands out for genuinely unusual reasons: a mini-game treated as a core feature rather than filler, and a promotions calendar deep enough to keep almost any type of player engaged. The trade-off is a lack of visible licensing detail and a couple of inconsistent figures between the site’s own pages, so the sensible approach is the same one that applies to any offshore-style platform: start small, confirm the current bonus terms directly in the app, and don’t assume a promotion or partner brand’s terms carry over from one page to the next.
